Citizens Advice
The Citizens Advice service helps people to resolve their problems.
As the UK’s largest advice provider, they are equipped to deal with any issue, from anyone, spanning debt and employment to consumer and housing plus everything in between.
In the last year alone, the Citizens Advice service helped 2.66 million people. But they're not just there for times of crisis – they also use clients’ stories anonymously to campaign for policy changes that benefit the population as a whole.
There are 1,600 local Citizens Advice locations across the UK, each of which is a registered charity. They rely on the support of the public to ensure they're ready with advice when it's needed.
Right now, the demand for Citizens Advice services is greater than ever. With a Citizens Advice in the community everyone has somewhere to turn – in fact two in every five people have used a CAB at some point in their lives.
