National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)

The NCVO are the largest membership organisation that supports charities and not-for-profit organisations in England. Founded in 1919 they give advice, information, training and consultancy and discounted products and services from name brand suppliers to charities. With over 8,300 members, they are a powerful voice advocating on behalf of not-for-profits to government and other policy makers.

They also provides support and advice to the voluntary and community sector, through:

• publications
• training and events
• marketing and communications
• a Helpdesk for NCVO members
