A Week to Remember

Published on

This year’s Remember A Charity Week was like no other. After a hive of activity at the start of the week, with the launch of our consumer ad campaign and a multitude of charities sharing their ‘Will you?’ materials, promotional activity came to an early close when the news broke about the Queen’s passing on 8th September.

We’re now back out there championing legacies with our consumer ads running on Facebook until the end of November. Former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis fronted our media activity, delivering broadcast interviews across the UK’s radio network and a series of informative ‘how to’ videos. Those videos, together with our new chatbot form part of our digital strategy to reach, inform and inspire the public all year round.

Campaign highlights include:

  • To date, our ads have reached more than one million people and our campaign videos have been watched over 750,000 times on social and YouTube
  • Our Janet Ellis information videos have been viewed around 150,000 times on YouTube alone
  • 1,000+ people used our web service to find a member charity during Remember A Charity Week
  • 60+ solicitors and Will-writers applied to join the 800+ practitioners on our Campaign Supporter scheme
