Countdown begins until Remember A Charity Week

Charities across the country will come together from 17-23 September for the consortium's fourth annual awareness week, Remember A Charity Week. During the week, charities will be holding events across the UK to urge people to think about including a good cause in their Will, once they have looked after family and friends. While around three quarters of Britons regularly give to charity in their lifetimes, only 7% currently include a charity in their Will. Nevertheless, gifts in Wills are still the foundation of many of Britain’s charities, creating nearly £2 billion each year, the equivalent of 20 Comic Reliefs. Without this income many charities would simply not exist and others would have to cut crucial services. Further information on this year's Remember A Charity Week will be unveiled on the Remember A Charity website in the coming weeks.
