Hospice fundraisers gather for largest UK event

Published on

Monday 25 January will see the biggest gathering of hospice fundraisers in the UK, at a conference organised by the Institute of Fundraising. The annual Fundraising for Hospices Conference in London is shaped to inspire fundraisers to develop their practices, and change misleading perceptions surrounding hospice care. Through sessions covering case studies, the impact of legacy giving and creating successful corporate partnerships, the programme will help hospice fundraisers to focus their future activity and collaborate better with colleagues. Rob Cope, director of Remember A Charity, will call on the hospice sector to work together to help normalise legacy giving. Drawing on evidence from Legacy Foresight, he will demonstrate the potential to grow the market by repositioning legacies as a social norm. The event also provides an opportunity for fundraisers to network and share ideas with peers.
