Remember A Charity today announces the appointment of a new Chair, Stephen George. Joining the NSPCC in October 1998 as Director of Community Appeals, Stephen George has also worked on the charity's Full Stop Appeal. Formerly, Stephen was Head of Regional Fundraising at Unicef for three years, and also worked at Scope in a fundraising capacity for 12 years. Stephen George, Chair of Remember A Charity and Development Director for Legacies at the NSPCC, says: "I am delighted to become the new Chair of Remember A Charity. My intention is to re-energise and refocus the Campaign in its key aims. "Over the next few months we will be reviewing our strategy to make sure we move to a step change in the behaviour of the will writing public. Often when we focus as charities on the things we can do together rather than apart we can make a real impact."
