Remember A Charity Week 2018 highlights

Published on

2018 saw another record-breaking Remember A Charity Week, with more charities than ever before coming together to celebrate the impact and importance of gifts in Wills. While much of Remember A Charity’s focus during the week itself lies with raising awareness among the public and working with the legal sector, employers, government and other influencers to do the same, a key part of the campaign’s work is helping charities in promoting their own unique legacy message to supporters. Rob Cope, director of Remember A Charity, says:
“There are so many fantastic examples of charities really making Remember A Charity Week their own and engaging supporters creatively around leaving a gift in their will. “We loved seeing how charities made the most of the Human Search Engine and adapted the campaign messaging to convey the importance of the work they do and the needs of their beneficiaries.”
The call to action of this year’s campaign was for people to pass on something wonderful by leaving a charitable gift in their will. See how four of our member charities reached out to their supporters during the week in our latest blog. For more examples of charity engagement with the week see our Twitter Moment. Our full campaign results will be available in our Impact Report in early 2019. Remember A Charity’s work to normalise legacy giving and support charities continues throughout the year.
