Accuro’s mission is to relieve social isolation for people with a disability in west Essex and to provide short break respite for parents, families, and carers.
We do this through a range of social, educational and leisure opportunities where children, young people and adults with a disability are empowered to fit in and be themselves, make friends, try new things, and grow in confidence, independence, self-esteem, and wellbeing. Our activities take place both at base and in the wider community breaking down barriers and fostering inclusion and acceptance.
We listen to families and our activities are member driven, meeting unmet need in our community where possible.
Our highly trained staff meet the complex needs of local people with a disability through personal care ensuring parents and carers can enjoy vital respite breaks from care responsibility.
