We are a user-led charity which exists to support children and their families affected by hydrocephalus.
Hydrocephalus is a life-threatening condition for which there is no cure. Our charity was launched by a family whose own son battles the condition and so has learnt firsthand of the challenges and isolation that can ensue. We therefore work tirelessly to raise awareness of hydrocephalus, fund health care professionals so they can learn more and consequently improve patient care, connect families isolated by the condition and campaign for better awareness of infant head circumference measurement as a tool for early diagnosis and timely management of the condition.
Legacies enable us to reach families who are isolated and frightened by their child’s hydrocephalus diagnosis so we can provide vital information, support and hope.
