We raise money to support better care at the Norfolk & Norwich, Cromer & District and Jenny Lind Children’s Hospitals.
We provide grants for new and additional life-saving equipment, such as surgical robots and ventilators for poorly newborn babies.
We fund development and wellbeing opportunities for the wonderful staff in our NHS Trust, funding higher education courses enabling nurses to become nurse consultants, or additional staff rest areas to give tired clinical staff a place to sit and refresh.
We provide grants for ground-breaking research, supporting new ways to test for Prostate Cancer, or for additional researchers for Liver and Gastrointestinal research projects.
We fund improvements to the patient experience, from simple items such as slip-on shoes for Emergency Department patients who arrive with no footwear, to decorating treatment and waiting areas with beautiful artwork and comfortable furniture to make them less like a hospital environment.
We aim to ensure that every penny counts, and in 2022/23 96p from every £1 we spent went on charitable activities, benefitting NHS patients using our local hospitals.
Over the last 10 years, thanks to our generous supporters, we have been able to provide £21m in grants for improvements for local patients.
