Our Nepal projects tackle climate change, nature loss and soaring inequality. We’re planting rapid-growth forests, rewilding ecosystems and supporting rural communities with sustainable nature-based livelihoods.
We are transforming marginalised rural communities in Nepal by:
- planting strategic, rapid-growth forests that act as flood barriers and build disaster preparedness in the face of the climate crisis
- creating rapid social change through ecosystem rewilding that also provides sustainable nature-based livelihoods, especially for women
- improving access to education and vocational training, especially for girls and women
All of this combines to help communities lift themselves from poverty and social exclusion, and genuinely flourish for decades to come.
Your generous legacy gift will be used in one of three project areas in Nepal:
1: access to education for children from the untouchable community
2: planting trees in our rapid-growth forests
3: building our emergency relief fund that will save lives when the inevitable disasters strike
