Our Mission Statement
To advance the education of the general public of Nepal (and in particular children)
including (but without limitation) by:
1. providing and assisting in the provision of stationery, equipment (including for
science and sports), buildings, facilities, open space and clothing for education at
Bittekharka School and other schools, colleges and universities
- making grants to pupils and students (or paying their tuition and other fees
direct) to enable them to attend (directly or remotely) school, college or university and/or
for the purchase of books, clothing or other items required to enable them to advance their
education
- sponsoring and awarding prizes for educational achievement
- making grants available to adults to enable them to return to education
2. To assist in such ways as the Trustees think fit any other charity whose aims include
advancing the education of the general public of Nepal in achieving that aim.
3. The relief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of
disaster in Nepal in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons,
bodies, organisations affected including the provision of medical aid.
