How to change your Will

Published on

Making sure your Will is up to date is incredibly important.

It’s always a good idea to update your Will if there's been a change in your circumstances.

As explained by Janet in our handy video, there are two simple options:

  1. Add a codicil to your Will. This is simply a piece of paper that gets added to your existing Will so minor changes can be made. Make sure your solicitor or Will-writer advises you on this.
  2. Creating a brand new Will. This may be a better option if you want to make quite a few changes.

Always make sure you get expert advice when updating your Will. You can search for a local solicitor or Will writer here
