We have teamed up with Bequeathed, an online Will writing service, so you can write your Will for free online.

What is Bequeathed?

Bequeathed is an online Wills provider carefully chosen by Remember A Charity to help you write your Will online for free. The service was set up by solicitors and is reliable and robust.

Not only does Bequeathed provide a secure way to make your Will, you can also write it from the comfort of your own home at a time that best suits you, including saving it and coming back to it later.

How does it work?

Once you are on Bequeathed’s website, all you need to do is:

1. Create an account with them.
2. Answer a few questions, such as which country you live in.
3. Start writing your Will, following the prompts Bequeathed gives you. If you have any questions, there is plenty of help available throughout the process.
4. Download your Will, print it, and get it witnessed. Bequeathed has guidance on its website on how best to do this during social distancing.

Who can use it?

This free Wills service is available to people 18 or over who live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

Unfortunately, it’s not yet available to those in Scotland or the Republic of Ireland because of key differences in laws around Will writing and inheritance.
